Special Technical Services LLC (STS) were awarded the contract for Design and Fabrication of 4 Process Columns from Daelim-Petrofac JV for the ORPIC - Sohar Refinery Improvement Project. These columns were Designed, Fabricated, Heat treated and Tested in-house at STS’s Sohar Fabrication Facility.

The longest column, the Amine Regenerator Column (39m long, 3.0m in diameter and weighing 58 MT) was rolled out of the Sohar workshop on 13th April 2015. This column was fabricated, tested and delivered in a single piece.
