STS underpinned another major milestone by erecting the 700 MT Multi Effect Desalination Evaporator for the desalination unit by setting high safety standards and ensuring operational excellence. This milestone is further testament to the effectiveness of our safety drivers, team essence, and working collaboratively and ensuring best industry practices are followed across the site. In the coming days, we have planned to erect two more MED evaporators of the same capacity.

STS management congratulated the entire team for their valuable contribution and thanked the TTSJV Operations team, for all their dedication and commitment for ensuring the safe and successful execution of the first MED Evaporator.

STS was recently awarded the Mechanical, Electrical & Instrumentation construction works for the Area 1 of BAPCO Modernization Program (BMP), by TTS JV which is a joint venture between Technip FMC (Italy), Tecnicas Reunidas (TR) (Spain), and Samsung Engineering (South Korea).

The scope for this project is to carry out Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation works including Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning assistance for the Utilities Area 1 works for BMP which includes Erection of Boiler, Reformer, Nitrogen Package, Compressors, Pumps, Vessels, Stacks, Air Coolers etc.
