STS has a rich and varied experience in execution of challenging projects within critical timelines and stringent parameters.

We deploy advanced construction methodologies, well-defined systems, softwares and proven procedures. We have over 1,200 items of equipment, in over 80 categories,with complete mobilisation across project sites to ensure timely completion.

For over a decade, STS has successfully executed design, procurement, construction, maintenance and repair of steel storage tanks. We have a dedicated team of skilled personnel and specialized equipment to carry out tank design and construction activities in-house whilst maintaining high standards of HSE and Quality.

STS operates two specialized fabrication workshops in Oman, located at Nizwa and Sohar industrial zones covering a total area of 125,000 sqm. We have also set up on-site workshops across Oman to serve the Integrated Engineering and Maintenance Contract for PDO.

STS forte is Plant Maintenance, Turnaround and Shutdown across petrochemical plants and refineries. Since inception, STS has been providing maintenance services to the oilfield operators in Oman and carried out successful preventive and breakdown maintenance campaigns on static and rotating equipment. Our maintenance capabilities extend to mechanical, instrumentation and electrical disciplines.

United Special Technical Services LLC (USTS)

USTS is a Joint Venture between United Pipeline Systems and STS. USTS provides Tite Liner®, which is the world’s leading thermoplastic lining system for protecting pipelines from corrosion and internal abrasion. USTS has completed projects for major companies such as Saudi Aramco, BP, Kuwait Oil Company, Petroleum Development Oman, Occidental Petroleum, Daleel Petroleum, Qatar Petroleum and ADCO.

Majan Aluminium Services L.L.C (MASCO), now a wholly owned subsidiary of STS was incorporated in Oman in the year 2005 as a Joint Venture with Austin Engineering of Australia.

Today, MASCO is delivering services to the expanding Gulf Aluminium Smelting market specifically in the fields of:

STS prides itself on delivering technical training and development to its employees in its own Technical Training Centers. These centers deliver both internal and internationally recognized training programs.

The training programs are certified through EAL UK for the technical trades,CITB UK for scaffolding trades and ASME for Welding Trades.
